Yup, you’ve heard it right! SDNZ just held its very first STREET CAMP in Rotorua (at Keswick Christian Camp and Conference Centre) and it was AMAZING!!!
More than 100 people attended the Camp, including dancers, parents and staff members. It was a really fun (3 full day) weekend where everyone had a chance to learn more about different dance styles and their history, techniques and foundations, as well as challenge themselves with more advanced choreography, attend leadership and judging workshops, meet dance tutors from NZ and overseas, make new friends and hang with SDNZ’s helpers and staff members!
Street Camp ended with a showcase, where dancers could perform the choreography they learnt in classes alongside with their tutors, and followed by a dance jam/battle and taking heaps of photos...
