REQUEST Take the title again!

Taking the 2009 World Varsity title at the Hiphop International World Championships this year made NZ proud. However now to add to their success is their newly won title winning gold at the recent World Supremacy Battlegrounds Event Nov 29th 2009!

The Super crew of 15 members rocked the stage with their engaging theme-like performance which was contrasting to their known previous performances. Fresh and unique to what the world expected, ReQuest again deserved the Australasian title with their skill and intensity.

ReQuest were also joined by another 4 NZ crews who each won titles: K-Otik, Kani Krew, Fatal Steppers and Unison Dance Crew. Winning 5 out of 9 medals!! NEW ZEALAND RIPPED UP!!

Making a REQUEST for Gold…

Our very first New Zealand all girls crew to take the competitive stage of the WORLD HIPHOP CHAMPIONSHIPS Varsity Division, ReQuest blew the crowd away with attitude that would have made Missy Elliot look like a princess!

New Zealand could not have been any prouder, following Sweet & Sour's win in 2008 and now representing our female dance scene with the tight win for 2009.

To the REQUEST girls: Thank you for your dedication and commitment that surely paid off this August, not only gaining another gold for NZ but paving the way for our aspiring female performers!

Witnessing the SWEETer side of NZ...

The Randy Jackson Show: America's Best Dance Crew has paved the way for the street dance genre breaking into the mainstream television and entertainment sector unlike any other.

Now beginning Season 4, New Zealand 's own Sweet & Sour exclusively performed for the audience at the ABDC show's first filming in Los Angeles . Chilling with previous ABDC Season 3 winners QUEST Crew, Sweet & Sour has surely taken NZ's status from the competitive World stage to the top entertainment sector of U.S.A which will surely hit the world in no time.
